| In April 2011, the new Companies Act will come into full effect.
This, in essence, means that CC's will no longer be registered, and PTY's will be registered in place of the CC's
Together with this, the need for an audit for PTY's will fall away, and will be replaced by an independent review which can be done at the request of the company.
Auditors are no longer needed to sign off PTY's (Private Companies), and accounting officers such as ourselves will be able to sign of the financials for Private Companies.
All current CC's will have to convert to PTY's, but the time period in which to do this will still be announced by CIPRO.
